See it from every angle
A form meant to read clearly from every viewpoint. The rotation reveals its volumes, proportions and the details of its making.
An archetype, softened
The Castor Lobby Sofa takes the Castor series into lounge seating: an archetypal, minimal design, soft cushions set on the calm, linear grain of the oak. A silhouette carefully resolved from every angle — at ease in a hall, a lobby or a large living room.
Solid oak, calm lines
Solid Japanese oak frame, polyurethane finish, quality foams. The “Plus” version gains seat depth and comfort. Low seat at 39 cm, generous silhouette.
The fabrics
Five upholstery families, from wool knit to recycled denim — each with its own material, hand and character.
Three yarns, a living colour
Kvadrat Steelcut Trio 3 — a three-yarn wool knit that makes the colour vibrate at the surface. Dense, springy and highly hard-wearing (100,000 Martindale) — from the living room to high-traffic spaces.
Depth, gently
Kvadrat Vidar 4 — a wool crêpe weave with a slightly satiny surface and nuanced tones. Matte, warm and very durable (100,000 Martindale).
Two colours woven into one
Kvadrat Coda 2 — two layers of wool in different shades woven together, giving this graphic, textured surface. Understated and durable (100,000 Martindale).
A warm, flecked surface
Maharam Mode & Merit — two New York fabrics: Mode with its flecked recycled yarn, and Merit with its finer two-tone weave. Understated and hard-wearing.
Indigo, a second life
RE:DENIM — recycled denim developed with Factelier for Karimoku New Standard: a dense, matte fabric in deep indigo. An eco-responsible choice (Standard wood only).
