The counter, at the right height

The Castor Barstool with Backrest carries the same sturdiness as the rest of the Castor family, with a wrap-around backrest and a steel-reinforced footrest. Two seat heights, high (76 cm) and low (67 cm), to suit a counter as well as a kitchen island.

Solid Japanese oak

Solid Japanese oak frame, tinted "Transparent Color" lacquer (clear "Clear Coating" finish for the Pure Oak shade). Nine finishes: three Standard (Pure Oak, Grain Gray, Grain Matt Black) and six Signature (Powder White, Powder Blue, Grey Green, Moss Green, Terracotta, Indigo Blue).

Big-Game

Big-Game, a Swiss studio founded in Lausanne (Grégoire Jeanmonod, Elric Petit, Augustin Scott de Martinville), designs functional work without frills. For Karimoku New Standard, the trio draws the Castor family: sturdy, stackable, built to last.
